Isis Salmeron

Isis is passionate about economic and community development and improving the financial well-being of underserved communities. She has 8 years of experience working with small businesses and low-income population in the DC Metropolitan area – first as a Small Business Lending Officer & Underwriter, and now as the Lending Operations Manager.

As the Lending Operations Manager, she supervises the lending program financial operations, and oversees the liquidity of LEDCs funds. Isis recommends lending policy and changes to our underwriting criteria to adjust to market shifts. She is also responsible for reporting on lending and related activity, and manages relationships with banks and makes sure all accounts are in compliance with banks and LEDC guidelines.
Isis Salmeron, originally from El Salvador, first moved to the United States in 2011 to continue her education. She received her bachelor degree in Finance and Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, and her Master of Science in Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
